City, area deaths Nellie Shrull Roy E. Worthington 1 Services for Nellie Shrull, 90, are scheduled Tuesday 1:30 p.m. at Behrens Mortuary with the Rev. Ralph Smith officiating. Burial will be In Mountain View Cemetery.

Mrs. Shrull was born July 4, 1885, at Redblrd, Neb. She moved to Vlewfield with her parents in 1895. stake Mining Co. veteran and retired in 1968 as general foreman of the mine department.

He was a member of the Lead Presbyterian Church; Golden Star Lodge 9 AF ft AM; Elks Lodge 508, Deadwood; American Legion Post 31, Lead; and Homestake Veterans Association. Survivors include his widow, Maude, Lead; a brother, Lawrence, Texas; and a nephew, Raymond K. Gratz, Iowa. A memorial has been established to the Silicosis Fund. Lowell Dixon Graveside rites for Lowell Dixon, 63, are scheduled Wednesday 10 a.m.

at Black Hills National Cemetery with the Rev. R. M. Walker officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Behrens Mortuary.

Dixon died Friday at the Veterans Administration Hospital In Hot Springs. He was born Feb. 19, 1913, In Wall. He had been In the VA hospital the past four years. Survivors Include his brother, Norris Dixon, Kohlotus, two sisters, Mrs.

WUllam (Marguerite) Arm-strong, San Gabriel, and Llla Desmond, Omaha, four nephews and seven nieces. She married William Shrull in 1903 and the couple bomesteaded In the Vlewfield area. They later moved to X)pal, where they farmed. They moved to Rapid City and then to Rio Dell, In 1969. She was preceded in death by ber husband, two daughters and a son.

Survivors Include three sons, Ralph, Rio Dell, William Enning, and Roger, San Jose, two daughters, Ilia Edgerton, Rio Dell, and Mrs. Ted (Gladys) Ward, Rio Dell, Calif. a sister, Ketzle Reber, Custer; 17 grandchildren, 47 greatgrandchildren and 12 LEAD Services for Roy E. Worthington, 70, are scheduled Wednesday 2 p.m.. at Wells-Ruth Funeral Home, Deadwood, with the Rev.

Art Bayley, Lead Presbyterian Church, officiating. Masonic rites will be performed by Golden Star Lodge 9 AF ft AM with graveside rites by Lead American Legion Post 31. Burial will be in Black Hills National Cemetery. Worthington died Sunday at bis home. He was born Aug.

29, 1905, in Harrison, Neb. He attended high school In Crawford, Neb. He married Maude Oens, April 10, 1933, in Spearfish. He served In the U.S. Army during World War II.

Rempfer died Sunday en route to a Sioux Falls hospital of Injuries suffered in an auto accident Saturday night near Holabird. A wake service will be held Tuesday evening at Allen.

Campbell-Paula Funeral Home Is in charge of arrange-ments. Mrs. Montileaux was born Aug. 22, 1904, on the Pine Ridge Reservation. She died Monday at a local hospital.

She was married to the late William Fire Thunder and then to Joseph Montileaux. Survivors include her widower, Joseph, one son, Edgar Fire thunder; seven step-children; three sisters, Maggie Pourier, Wllma Tibbitts and Pacific Palmier; and 14 grandchildren. Mrs. Elizabeth Hill Services are pending for Mrs. Elizabeth Kill, 94, with Campbell-Paula Funeral Home In charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hill, long-time Rapid City resident and pioneer Indian woman, died Monday at a local hospital. She was born In 1882 at Pine Ridge. Her father was a trader and had stores on the reservation and in Rushvllle, Neb. Mrs.

Vfol was attending boarding school during the Wounded Knee Massacre aud remembered being kept Inside the sctiool for two weeks following the incident Mrs. Hill left the reservation to attend the Indian school in Rapid City. Later she worked at the school and married an engineer who worked on the school building. The couple moved to Wisconsin and North Dakota before returning to Rapid City in 1933. Her husband, George, died In 1962.

He was born April 20, 1895, at.Meckllng. He moved with his parents to 'Lyman County in 1902, where he attended schools. He married Lyra Albert Sept. 6, 1920, at Wessington Springs, lie was a veteran of World War I. Hodgin worked in banks at Ocoma, Chamberlain, Kadoka and Belvidere.

He moved to Rapid City in 1930 to work for Warren Lamb Lumber Co. He also worked in the Rapid City schools. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, IOOF, World War I Veterans, the American Legion, and South Park Community Church. Survivors include his widow, Lyra, Rapid City; a son, Al, Rapid City; a daughter, Mrs. Doris Brown, Rapid City; five brothers, Harold, Ocoma, Arthur, Chamberlain, John, Santa Rosa, Egbert, Stayton, and Daniel, Rockport, five sisters, Alice Kentch, Rapid City, Sara Harder, Spearfish, Flavla Hodgin, Agnes Carlson and Ruth all of Hesperia, nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established to the Cancer Society. (0 RNATION ALBERS He was born May 28, 1954, at Wagner to Alvin and Gertrude Hallquist Rempfer. He moved with his parents in 1961 to Onida where he graduated from Sully Buttes High School in 1972. He attended the University of South Dakota and was employed by Gordon Ball Construction Onida, on the Oahe E. Louise Kubler DEADWOOD Services for E.

Louise Kubler, 77, are scheduled Wednesday 10 a.m. at the Wells-Ruth Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ron Hennies, St. John's Episcopal Church, officiating. Burial will be in Oakridge Ceme-tery.

Miss Kubler died Monday in a Rapid City hospital. She was born May 30, 1899, to Joseph and Elizabeth Kubler In Custer. She attended Custer High School and taught at Boyle's Business College In Omaha, Neb. She moved back to Custer and then to Rapid City last year. She was a member of the Golden Link Chapter of Eastern Star, Rapid City.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters. Survivors include a brother, Carl Kubler, Deadwood; two nephews and a niece.
