Orr, 87 who Fdied Friday at the Senior Citizens Center, are scheduled Tuesday 10 a.m. at the F. 0. Jol-i ly Funeral Home with the Rev. Gerald Chrlstopherson of Interment will be in Dear Butte Cemetery.

Orr was born Nov. 28, 1886, on a homestead on Alkali Divide to John and Sarah Orr. He attended schools there. He married Mildred Farwell on Aug. 23, 1909, in Sturgis.

He lived in the Sturgis area his entire life. Orr was preceded In death by Jiis wife, Mildred, two sons, 'three brothers, a sister, and three great-grandchildren. i Survivors include a son, Lester Orr, Sturgis; two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Charlotte) Jones, Sturgis, and Mrs. Alvin (Inez) Hoyt, Battle Creek, two sisters, Mrs.

Archie (Clara) Tennis and Mrs. Lillie Martin, both of Sturgis; IS grandchildren; 52 greatgrandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. 13, 1890, at Wakonda in Dakota Territory to Tandy and Laura Hale. She came to Meade County with her parents in a covered wagon and settled in Bear Butte Valley. They later moved to Chalk Butte. She married Miles Carney on Aug. 27, 1908, in Sturgis.

They ranched near White Owl until 1950 when they moved to Sturgis. She moved to Faith in 1962 and for the past two years had been living in the Eastern Star Home in Redfield. She was a member of Eastern Star, and a memorial has been established for the Eastern Star Home building fund. Mrs. Carney was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers, one sister, one son and a grandson.

Funeral ser- vices for Clarence Thomas I Thompson, 77, who died Satur-- day In a Newcastle hospital are scheduled Wednesday 2 p.m. at I the Community United i Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of the McColley i Funeral Home. li Thompson was bom April 7, 1897, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Chris and Martha Thompson. He moved to a homestead near Up-I ton with his parents in 1910.

He married Bernice Sheldon Feb. 5, 1921. They lived on a jj ranch 14 miles southwest of Up-. ton until his retirement in 1930 when they moved to Upton. He was a Mason and Shriner and a member of the Methodist Church and the Farm Bureau.

Survivors include his widow, Bernice; three daughters, Mrs. David (Katherine) Holwell, Osage, Mrs. Herman i (Leon) Nolan, Casper, and Mrs. Jack (Clarice) Pridgeon, Moorcroft, four sons, I Ernest, Sundance, Neil, Upton, Truman, Casper, and i Stanley, Rock Springs, 38 grandchildren and five great-I grandchildren; three brothers i and five sisters. for the region include: Sheridan, 60; Chadron, 61; Moorcroft, 57; Lemmon, 56; Miles City, 62; and Pierre, 62.
