Kelley was born Feb. 28, 1964, In Rapid City and lived here with her family for about eight years. She was a sixth grade student and cheerleader at Country Club Elementary School in Farmington. Kelley was a San Juan County, N.M., cystic fibrosis poster child in 1973 and a former poster child in Rapid City, She is survived by her parents, Mr.

and Mrs. Carlos Calderon of 5704 Services for Virginia Engleka will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Campbell-Paula Funeral Home, instead of 10 a.m. as previously scheduled. Lyle D.

(AP) Ronald Reagan, launching bis final preconven-Hon campaign swing, can expect "tough questions" from the crucial, uncommitted Mississippi delegation about the man he wants as his running mate, an aide says, The conservative former California governor planned his first public appearance here with liberal Sen. Richard S. Schweiker of Pennsylvania. Reagan has made no public appearances or statements since announcing on July 26 that he wanted Schweiker as his vice presidential candidate if he captures the Republican presidential nomination.

Reagan Is visiting five crucial states where he hopes to firm up bis once-solid support In the South against recent Inroads by President Ford and ex-plolt new opportunities in the Northeast. It Is his last scheduled campaign outing before the Republican National Convention Aug. 16 in Kansas City. Billy Mounger, Reagan's Mississippi campaign chairman, said Reagan and Schweiker would meet with delegates in private soon after arriving in Jackson. The two also planned to meet Tuesday night with the 37 members of the Alabama GOP delegation, who are committed to Reagan but have expressed some discontent about Schweiker.

Mounger said Reagan would have to convince delegates that Schweiker is Tuesday in St. Joseph's Hospital following a long illness. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church of the Northern Hills by the Rev. Sanford Cleveland, Rapid City.

Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery under direction of Wells-Ruth Funeral Home. A memorial has been established for the church. Ethel Prewitt was born Aug. 14, 1884, in Oak Grove, to Thomas and Rebecca Prewitt. She attended schools in Oak Grove, where she married Dell T.

Hutchens, Oct. 29, 1905. He died April 15, 1961. The couple lived in Missouri until 1923, when they moved to Deadwood. Mrs.

Hutchens was a member of the First Baptist Church of the Northern Black Hills. Surviving are a son, Paul Hutchens, Covina, three daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Mildred) Busby, Yakima, Evelyn Hutchens, Deadwood, and Mrs. John (Helen) Weatts, Fort Wood, six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, one great-greatgrandchild, and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a sister and seven brothers.

Roy Goddard. River bank bill to be considered WASHINGTON (AP) Rep. James Abdnor, says the U.S. House Public Works Committee will consider legislation for Missouri River bank stabilization Aug. 24-Sept.

2. Abdnor said the proposal he sponsored would control erosion between Fort Randall Dam and Sioux City, Iowa. The program would be under the direction of the Corps of Engineers and governors of Nebraska and South Dakota, he said.
