General NEW ORLEANS (AP) Judge Alvin Oser, who threw out the charges against Tulane basketball star John "Hot Rod" Williams, was removed Friday from hearing any more of the Tulane point-shaving cases. Brooking! 21 YANKTON (AP) Yankton's Kevin Nielsen ran for 154 yards and scored touchdown Friday In the Bucks' 35-21 Eastern South Dakota conference football win over Brookings. The victory clinched the outright ESD title for the Bucks. Dave Schieffer had a 34-yard touchdown ramble and passed 43 yards to Kyle Gerster for another score for Yankton, unbeaten this season. Rob Klimlsch added another touchdown. Brookings' Chris Stark scored twice, on a 7-yard run and a 74-yard punt return.

Second place went to White River and Burke took third. The individual winner for the girls was Janna Fauske with a time of 11:48, one minute ahead of team mate Tonia Keyser. Both Wall and White River qualified for the state meet in the girls division. The Crazy Horse boys also won the junior varsity division with Burke taking second.
