Have you ever been so sleepy that no matter what, you couldn't keep your eyes open? If so, think about this: Jim wasn't sleepy at all -and his eyes stayed shut for three months! He literally had to tape his eyelids open to be able to see. Jim went to doctor after doctor, but no one could help. Finally, he came here.

I diagnosed Jim's condition as "ocular myasthenia gravis," a malfunction, and surgically corrected his upper eyelids by adding "frontalis slings." These allow him to open and close his eyes at will. Jim says, "I was really down in the tape made my eyelids sore!" I guess I'd get pretty emotional too if I had come to work with my eyes taped open every day. Glad we could help you, Jim.
