He currently is employed at Butler Machinery as a diesel technician.

Michael and Marilyn Long Long, 30th Michael and Marilyn (Hanson) Long will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, June 5th. They met in Missoula, Montana and were married at South Canyon Lutheran Church in Rapid City in 1982. During their marriage they lived in Montana, Ohio, Wisconsin, Colorado, Idaho and Utah, moving to Rapid City in 2009. They credit God with the success of their marriage, and are depending on him for the next 30 years too! He then graduated from Black Hills State University in 2009 with a Bachelors Degree in History and a minor in Athletic Coaching; he then went on to graduate from Black Hills State University in 2011 with a Masters Degree in Strategic Leadership. He is currently the assistant womens basketball coach at Black Hills State University.
